Review: Holster Sandals

I had a close look at a pair of Holster sandals recently and I love them. Plus, Fearne Cotton wears them and I really admire Fearne, so that could be part of it. Regardless, these sandals are vegan friendly and recyclable, getting the green thumbs up. At just £44, they’re affordable and, from what I can see, well worth the money. Plus, I love the stud detailing on the strap and the range of colours. That being said, I do have to be a bit dull and say that the black sandals are definitely my favourite!

For Women: 3.1 Phillip Lim Jacquard Mini Skirt

What can I say? I’d be crazy not to adore this Phillip Lim skirt – it’s floral AND metallic! Two things I can’t get enough off this summer. Pair this with a white blouse (tucked in, of course) and some sandals, and you have yourself a beautiful, slightly edgy summer ensemble. Perfect if you demand effortless style when popping out for a spot of lunch with the girls!

Love This: STORM “Zentrek” Watch

I was a little bit delighted when I received the press release for STORM’s new Zentrek watch. It’s a little more bulky and casual than watches I usually like, but it has a nice summer feel, so there’s no doubt it’s current.

Available in both a matte and polished finish, STORM have given you choice with this style, which I really appreciate – and I’m sure you do, too. Plus, it’s available in both blue and black.

Practical with its 24 hour features and STORM’s signature lazer glass, ensuring longevity, the Zentrek is definitely a style to consider buying this summer.

Review: Paradigma Footwear Men’s Navy Tassel Loafers

Last week, the lovely people over at Paradigma Footwear sent me these beautiful shoes. Firstly, I adored them simply because they are handmade in Portugal. Secondly, I realised I loved everything else about them, too. They’re versatile and INCREDIBLY comfy, which is really, really important to me. I’m not someone who’ll wear a pair of shoes that hurt just because they look good. That’s not fashion; that’s stupidity.

I figured I’d most probably pair these with a navy suit for a stylish work look in the office, but then throw them on with a pair of navy chinos and a white or pastel blue shirt for a slightly more relaxed day look when I’m just pottering about with friends.

For Men: Dolce & Gabbana Classic Polo Shirt

If you’re going to invest your money in designer, I like to think that the classic styles are where you start. Owning something simple, timeless and versatile is a must, especially if you’re a guy who tends to grab at clothes in the wardrobe without even looking, which I often do!

Burgundy is one of my favourite colours and that’s most of the reason as to why I’ve chosen this Dolce & Gabbana polo shirt as a wardrobe essential. Pair this with some denim shorts or chinos in the summer and some plain denim jeans or trousers for the rest of the year. You’ll look mighty dapper!

For Women: Topshop Flower Power Crop Jacket

Most of the time, Topshop prints are just ugly as they try to be “cool” by reusing prints from 50 years ago ALL the time. However, sometimes, just sometimes, they get it right. This polka dot/floral print is just perfect. Plus, I really like cropped jackets in the summer – they give a sort of cool elegance that’s perfect if you’re working in the city. Throw this on with a plain summer dress or, for work, replace your boring blazer with this jacket. It’ll certainly make your outfit pop!

For Men: Italia Independent Felt Brim Sunglasses

I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of sunglasses, however statement sunglasses that are a little quirky tend to pull at my heartstrings. These bold sunglasses from Italia Independent are favourites of mine, although I think you have to be a little unconventional to pull them off. Regardless, if you like to look a bit contemporary and to stand-out, these could be for you.

For Men: Sandor Lakatos Printed Jacket

I recently discovered Hungarian menswear designer Sandor Lakatos while flicking through Not Just A Label, and I just love this printed jacket. It’s beautifully cut and the print is just the right amount of elegant and eye-catching. Paired with a white shirt and some black trousers for an evening ensemble, or even for work, this will look top-notch!
