Tallulah’s Threads is a Brighton, UK-based vintage boutique offering a selection of carefully selected vintage clothing for women. It also carries a small collection of its own vintage-inspired pieces. The brand was founded in October 2012.
Danielle Collier, the founder of Tallulah’s Threads, kindly provided me with a handful of images of the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection exclusively before their official release later this week. The collection includes pretty floral print dresses, as well as a very lovely tartan smock dress. Beautiful and very reasonably priced, with most items retailing at around £35, this is definitely a brand to have on your radar!
You can purchase selected items through the Tallulah’s Threads website.
Zuhair Murad’s Autumn/Winter 2014 couture collection is a great mix of colour and monochrome, and perfect if you love beautiful evening gowns that are, without doubt, red carpet-worthy. Figure-hugging and a great mix of off and on-the-shoulder, this is exactly what I expect a couture collection to look like. Plus, it’s really wearable, which I just love!
Red, Viktor & Rolf, couture and plenty of luxurious velvet… For Autumn/Winter 2014, it can’t go wrong!
Slightly eccentric cuts are shown next to effortless, classic evening dresses, and everything’s really beautiful. There’s plenty of movement and quirky femininity through the use of eccentric, giant bows and I just love it!
What do we love more than something girly and edgy and a bit unconventional? I know the answer…
Ulyana Sergeenko has done a wonderful job of Autumn/Winter 2014 couture. This collection is edgy and has just the right amount of sex appeal and the style that comes with being a cosmopolitan woman. Plus, the fun Ulyana’s had with colour in this collection is just fantastic. There’s plenty of leather and silk and sheer, but then there’s also beautiful long coats and dresses that cover you, contrasting against the rest of the collection.
I adore the abstract prints of Givenchy. For Autumn/Winter 2014, they’ve released this beautiful abstract face clutch, which is currently available via Farfetch. I think it’s absolutely stunning and will add a genuine creative edge to any outfit – especially a simple black dress or a skirt, tucked-in t-shirt and jacket combo.
This is must-have for Autumn/Winter 2014, I feel! Get shopping…
Spring/Summer 2015 collections are already bombarding my inbox, however I couldn’t move onto them before posting about Acne’s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, which I absolutely adore!
Whether it’s tailored jackets, statement metallic skirts, evening glamour, or a cosy jacket to keep you warm during the winter months you’re after, Acne’s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection has it!
An eclectic mix of quirky, retro prints and crisp leathers, silks, cottons and wools, this is, without doubt, what luxury is all about. Better yet, the varied palette, from pastel and navy blue, tan and black, to white, green and purple, is to die for!
Autumn/Winter 2014 stock has flooded into Farfetch and I can’t get enough of this printed textured silk dress from Peter Pilotto. I love everything from the abstract print to the round neck and simple silhouette with a concealed back-zip. It’s beautiful and will look fantastic with a pair of simple black pumps and a contrasting clutch for an easy day-to-evening look.

Giving a nod to youth culture, Eudon Choi‘s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection is preppy and wardrobe ready. Dresses are simple and jackets are pristinely tailored – there’s no doubt that the endless array of sublime outerwear stole the show.
